mushroom tart

Took a whack at Tartine's mushroom tart recipe today, and while I haven't tried any, this cookbook hasn't failed me yet! The idea is pretty simple: in some butter, saute a pound of mushrooms with a cup of shallots, some thyme, nutmeg, salt, and pepper, deglaze with some lemon juice, then combine with three egg yolks and a cup of cream (I used whole milk instead), pour into a partially baked savory tart shell and bake for about 20 minutes at 350. Easy peasy.
